Torque specs on alloy wheels??

Discount already torqued them to 85#, per paperwork, and they want me to come back in for a recheck in 50-75 miles.

I thought torque specs for alloy were less then 85#??

Per '97 FM 87#, no diff. steel or alloy wheel. I think factory alloy wheel has steel insert.
