Roof Liner Falling

Anyone got any ideas on how to preminantly/inexpensively re-attach a roof liner that is starting to fall/hang down?

Get some 3M adhesive of some kind, that should take care of it.

most of the time when that happens you have to go have a new headliner put in. IT is about $110 to get done

Or... you can do what I did. I got my old name tags from my past 2 jobs and have them holing it up. I tried that spray glue adhesive, but that worked for like, 2 days. So yeah, old name tags, it works..

My old car I used the 3m carpet glue... You spray both sides let it sit untill it is tacky and press them together it held up untill the tranny locked up and threw a rod (roughly 3 years and 300,000 miles on it.. )
old 81 mercury tracer first car I had to weld a spark plug into place. Ghetto

pull the whole board out of teh car and sand all the old glue and foam off. if you just spray the glue to the old foam it wont stick as the foam is deteriating and hence it is falling like me off a bridge. once you have sanded it down to a nice clean surface spray the poo-poo outta it with something like 3M super 77 and smoothe on your new headliner material. Im debating to redo mine with the same vinal I am going ot do my doorpanels with so it is all the same. the Vinal is 6.99 a yard while basic blac headliner material is 12.99 here.
