I just bought a used car from a dealership and everything was fine. I got my car today and while the stereo works fine when I put a CD in it keeps saying error. At first I thought it might be because I was trying with a burned CD so I tried with a fairly new "real" CD and it says the same thing. It has a cassette deck as well and i haven't tried to see if that works but I did try several CDs and nothing works. Please help :frown: I want to listen to my CDs.

it probably kicked the bucket buddy... use a lens cleaner if you want, it looks like a cd but it has bristles on the face of it, it spins up in the player and cleans off the laser lens. If that doesn't work, might as well buy an aftermarket cd player. If you dont want to do that, buy a casette adapter and use a portable cd player in order to hear your cd's :grinyes:

well i have a 99 altima and i preferred buyin myself a new pioneer cd player... it has cool graphics and all that jazz.. mine originally when i got my used car had a cd player, didnt work so i bought a new one.

but if u want to save that one , yeah , try getting the cd player cleaner, its a cd you put in and it helps clean the inside.. etc. so yeah
