Hey guys I'm sure you recall me running 14.5's a lil while back. So let me tell you what I did and how things went. I waited around for a nice cool day(yesterday) and cranked up my boost to 22 PSI> OH yea!
Then I unhooked my exhaust cause I really think my 2.5 is hurting me.
So I ran a few runs and here are my results. (I got a video too but my friends cam right now so it will be a while before I can edit and post it).
These are Gtech results

Reaction ----
60 ft 1.716
330 ft 5.017
1/8mile 7.898 @ 88.88mph
1000ft 10.032
1/4mile 12.741 @ 109.41mph
0-60mph 4.9

Wow, nice. You should hit up a track and make it official now.

I think the last 8th mile my car got slower, LIke at the beginning it wsa going to fast and then I dunno kinda started to stutter a bit at the top end of 3rd.
And I can't really go to a track. They just don't have them around here. And there is one like 3 hours away but I've heard that everynight the cops just go there and write down all the plates and pull people over as they are leaving and sit everywhere with speedtraps and mark you as a racer. Its just more shit then I want to deal with so I just have to accept these times as they are.

Hit it up anyway! Switch your plates, take them off, or cover them up. Congratulations on the faster times though.

Take it in a trailer lol. Or get a crappy open trailer and just put a tarp over it. Maybe a bit farfetched but, hey I'm just trying to help.

but i'm guessing there's a cop at the exit wainting for people with plates, and if you dont have it, there you go, ticket. they always find a way to get some money for their donuts.lol

Thats a good time without a fmic. Im real interested in what you'd do at the track but your situation sucks. Either way, good numbers man!

Yea and the cops around here are real pricks, and in Canada they just passed a law that street racers cars can be CUBED. Seriously they take your car and crush it end of story no insurance money. Its this years hot button cause some kids killed themselves and a cabby. I got a video of my frineds benz getting towed by the pigs and then my friend came to help and he has a 06' g35 and they pulled him over and they gave him 3 tickets for total bullshit (window tint too dark, ownership not signed in ink, and sticker one month too old). THEN they took my two friends information and started asking questions if they were drug dealers (which they aren't) because they assume there is no way 21 year olds can have a s-class, a g35, and a talon TSI (the fastest of the three ;) all on chrome and a 2006 yzf r1.
I know what your thinking -> yea how do they have that shit if they aren't drug dealers. Well its pretty simple of the 3 of us I'm the only one in UNiiversity (hence I have the cheapest car) and they both have full time jobs and live at home (well kinda one of the guys dad died and got a shit ton of life insurance). So now my friends both got court dates. I managed to stay kinda clear cause when I heard the cops were there, I brought my winter beater an old ass camry so they wouldn't associate my talon with me and street racing.
We have a shit ton of cool race vids/ like wheelies and burnouts and cops and were making a pretty sweet full lengths but this video editing IS DRIVING ME NUTS> but when its done I will show you all, were aiming for the winter it to be finished. Now you can see why I don't want to go to the track.

I don't think he was talking about at the track, more as driving to/from.

Nope, definately talking about taking them off while running it at the track so the cops cant write down his plates.
