Mazda 3 Vs. Spec V

My friend just got a new mazda 3. How does it compare to the spec v in performance? Input:

......do you really want this thread? cuz, ive heard many different things about mazda 3s. they are like the 200sx ser's and my b15 sr20de. like mazda's response to it. since nissan doesnt make the whole sr20de anymore.

i was being nice, and the mazdaspeed 3 will need a turbo, lsd, and a lucky driver.......even the mazdaspeed miata goes down, at least i beat one anyways, and its boosted :iceslolan

Hah, that MS Miata would kill me here in Denver. Turbos help too much at mile high elevation....:(

Well I drove his car... it drove nice, but it was barely quick. 1st was jumpy and 2nd felt sluggish right away, which is when the spec really starts to kick it in gear... mine atleast.
btw: I never thought about altitute playing a role with turbos. It makes sense, though
