after thinking that the cat was clogged did back pressure test all was good. intermittintly the truck felt like it lost half the cyls. watching data while driving the only thing seen was inj pulse width drops to 0 on bank 1 when engine stumbles. tried cleaning the connector intake it looked good no corrosion but the problem is still there . any ideas this is a weird one thanks

I helped a friend that had a 96 Camaro (LT1) that was doing the same thing and it turned out to be a bad connection at the fuse for Bank 1.

I am not sure if the Vortec and LT1 have the same style of PCM but on the Camaro, each bank had a separate fuse and separate ground. I would check both the ground and fuse for Bank 1.

If the ground, fuse and wiring look good, then the PCM could be at fault.

Good luck with this one.
