My brother is wanting to build an 'Eleanor', but is going to paint it red/white stripes for something different. There aren't too many red ones out there, so he had me sketch one out for him. Also, instead of Shelby rims, he wants Boyd Smoothies. I tried...

Awesome.
I love this car. Great drawing!
How much is it overthere to biuld such a car? I mean, who can afford it? Here in Europe you should run a company or you should have a well payed job as such as an engineer, architect or doctor to get such a project payed.

Love your drawings! Awesome colouring, this is how I hope to be one day. Not a fan of the front lights but everything is perfect. Well Done!
Looking forward to more of your drawings.
Cheers, Rob.

knightvision: The cost to build a car like this depends if you do the work yourself, or get a restoration shop to do it. Labor is very expensive in the states($70/hr.+), so you'll save a ton of $ by doing it yourself, if you have the experience and shop to build it. Approx. cost to build, $20,000-$30,000, if done yourself. There are many car collectors in America. A lot of them are retired or business owners.
jd_design: I use Staedtler color pencils and a 01 black micron for the hard lines.

Nice renderings, I respect anyone that can render with color by hand. I'm still a young padawan when coloring cars. Also the Shelby GT500 is one of my favorite muscle cars of its time. Eleanor's version is even better. Good luck with the build, I know it ain't cheap but it'll be well worth it.
