As some of you know im doing the lower intake manifold gasket on my 97 blazer. When i was cleaning the gasket off my dremel died so i was just tieing things out of the way to make life easier while it was carging. Then i looked at the ungly valve covers and i wanna do somthing with them, Mainly paint them.

I wanted to know some color options that you guys think would look good. I want somthing that will stand out so it shows i put some work in to them but not too steal your attention. I was thinking of ...........

Gloss black cover w/ red V-6, VORTECH
Or the other way around red covers w/ black v-6 and vortech.
I was even thinking of using the chrome spay paint thats out. Im not sure how well it works or looks but its an idea.

I think that red with black lettering would look good in your red Blazer.

Personally I would recomend that you get them powder coated. It doesn't cost much anymore, and the color choice is incredible.

i'd say black with the red vortec letters. if u want a classier look, spray the valve covers crome (let dry), then shoot them in black and wipe the black off the letters before it drys. u will have black covers but with crome lettering.

I was gonna do chrome covers with red lettering, Or black. Turns out we have composite valve covers. I thought they were metal. So i didnt chance making a bigger mess by having paint buble up on me and peel off so i let them alone......... for now:iceslolan
