I searched, and didnt come across a step by step on this.
I bought new mirrors to replace the ones on my 1997....the ones I bought are heated.
How do I hook these up to my defrost switch, so they will heat up?
The car does not have the heated mirrors now, so I know I will need to tap into the defrost wire.

I just pulled this from another post. I am quoting the original author, which was me,
"Pick up a haynes manual and it has the wiring diagram in it for the outside power mirrors.
Right outside mirror:
Lt Blue and Lt Grn/Blk - ECB
Yellow/Blk - Motor Up/Down Switch
White/Blk - Motor Left/Right Switch
Left OUtside Mirror:
Lt Blue/Lt Grn - ECB
Yellow - - Motor Up/Down Switch
White - Motor Left/Right Switch
ECB connections go to Mirror position switch inside truck.
From the switch in the truck
Like to like on all connections with the exception of the ECb wires that connect to the Light blue from the interior switch.
Black to Ground
Orange to Fuse block courtesy fuse 2 (hot at all times).
Hope this helps."
This was in an earlier post where someone hooked up mirrors in their truck. I believe, but am not positive, that the ECB wires supply power to the heating elements.
