Well, today I had a spurt of activeness, it finally didnt rain in FL after a week and a half, so I played some bball for a couple hours. I got home around 8:30 and decided, hey, I want to run to the mall and back, I figured it was about 3 miles. 45min later I get back and decide to mapquest how far it was, and it was 5.32 miles total trip. That means I averaged like 8-8.5 min miles, after not doing anything for a long time. I just wanted to share the good news with everyone :)

You should feel proud, now just keep it up! Most people don't do anything active unless they have to. I've been commuting to work by bicycle. It's 13 miles one way, or 26 each day! Some co-workers are envious, the rest think I'm nuts, :screwy: but I feel great and really enjoy it. :) Gotta do something to keep from gettin' old!

Im usually really lazy, only bad thing is today during my 2 1/2 hours of bball, after about an hr and a half, my calvs decided to lock up and make me fall over. Streched em out and I was good to go :)

Last time I had a cramp was the worst. I was driving in rush hour traffic on the highway, inching along when all of a sudden, my left leg decided to cramp up on me HARD. It wouldn't have been so much of a problem if I didn't drive a stick shift. That was an interesting 2 minutes to say the least :shakehead

I used to do my stair stepper for 1.5 horus ever morning at 3:30-5 before I rode my bike 4 miles to my work of trimming Christmas trees for 8 hours. Then I'd ride back home and lfit weights or run. Man I wish I was in that shape again.

I ended up running another 3.5 over a bridge with about a 60 foot incline over .8 miles 1 way, it was fun....yea ive had that muscle cramp up on me while I was in the middle of things, but I usually catch it before it gets bad and move really fast.

i used to bike to work every day, it's only a 15 minute bike ride but it's still good. I got tired of biking back though, i work on a gokart track and on busy days im almost constantly running so i've got barely any energy when i get back. that's why i can only lift weights when i work in the evernings or on a day off.
