My Camaro HeadLights Are Constantly Going Out

I drive my 1997 v6 camaro 3800 about 87 miles a day to work and during a 4 month period i've had to change my low beam headlights 2 times one side one week then the other side about 2-3 weeks later. With me having to purchase the whole headlight assembly its very expensive, about 56 dollars a headlight. Does any have any idea what could be the problem?:uhoh:

You got a short somewhere. Either one of the wires is exposed and shorting itself out or its getting built up moisture somehow like often happens with the tail lights.

How can I find the short, do I need to trace the main wire back and does it often happen with both headlights?

thats semi easy. Yes the wires are all right there and if you own ramps , great. Just get under the car and trace the wires back while all checking to make sure there is no break in the wire. You can also try a volt meter to see if you can find a spike.

Defiantely start at the grounds and work your way back, especially if it's a shared ground with say the cooling fans?
