I have a 99 and the front right wheel squeaks as I am driving. I can turn left, right, doesn't matter. It doesn't always do this either. Usually when I hit the breaks it stops. Could the caliper need replacing? The last time I got the brakes changed, I only needed to replace that particular side because it had wore all the way down to the metal. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Due respect here, but common sense says have the wheel removed and look at the condition of the pads, may be the wear indicator as the symptoms say the pad is on the wear indicator.

I had a similar sounding problem and it ended up that the right front caliper wasnt releasing all the way. Changed out both calipers, got some new rotors and pads, now the sound is gone and the brakes work great.
