$1400?? what...?

had a laugh this morning at the Honda dealership..

for a new catalytic converter and centre pipe they wanted $1400cdn. (not installed). Plus I need a gasket for my oil pan, which is another $200.

they had a list of other stuff too, it amounts to more than $2000 :banghead: :lol:

anyone in Ontario have any spares?? hopefully NAPA has some cheapies :)

Oil pan gasket is like $15 usd.

You can get cat and mid-pipe at any muffler shop for maybe $100.

Don't throw your money away.

Going to the dealership for replacement parts is only good if you want to

A) leave laughing or

B) choke somebody

yeah dealers rape you. i work for saturn now and i charged a dude today 750 bucks for 2 new rear calipers and pads. that doesnt even include labor.

That's some funny shit... but true... I mean, what Saturn requires calipers and pads that cost that much... unless they were from a Vette or CTS-V... haha.

heh..reminds me of the time afew years ago when I went into honda asking for a TPS..they tried to sell me a whole distributor for like 500 bucks or something..LOL kiss my ass..
