Buying out of State

Has anyone ever encountered issues with purchasing a vehicle from a remote (out of state) dealership? I've heard that doing this can create some bad feelings if you then try to have the car serviced at a local dealership, was wondering if anyone had either positive or negative experience with this?

I bought an entry lux import out of state. Had no problems getting the local dealer to service it or perform waranty work.

If you're buying used I can see why it would be a pain but if it's new then it should be alright.

Welcome to AF on your first post.
It should not make any difference on warranty or sevice work.
Some dealers are a pain on it and some are nice about it.
If you have any problems call the 1 800 customer service no in your owners manual and the problem will be taken care of.
