alarm shutoff

i have a problem, i need to get my alarm shutoff. got a 2 year old that lost my keys somewhere and i need some help ASAP. i have a 2003 sonata, and i need to know how to get my alarm turned off, which fuses to pull if any, and what will allow me to start my car. i have a spare key but not a spare alarm, so i cant get it to unlock the ignition. i tried tricks that have worked for 2002 models with no luck. apparently the little koreans caught that.

I have always been able to start the car with my key if the alarm is going off. I also have a 2003. The only way I have found to turn the alarm off is to start the car.

well starting the car would work if it didnt have an ignition lock. heaven forbid you use your own key to start your own car. see, when the alarm is connected, if you dont have the remote and try to get it, the thing goes ape. i fixed the problem, all you have to do is pop the hood and disconnect 1 of the battery's connections. after you reconnect it, it resets the alarm so you can use the key until you re-arm the alarm. once you do that you are back to square one. thank god the remote turned up!!!
