One problem leads to another. I think most are self-inflicted. Trying to get back on the road. Replaced head gasket and build a header to replace cracked cast-iron one. Trying to start and now have no fuel pressure. Have no power to fuel pumpS. Tried to run code test and my tester only peep continuously. I did pressure wash to engine compartment. Could that have shorted the computer? Can the computer be rebooted or cleared? This was a running truck :banghead:

In my research here and at other forms and my own hair pulling on my ford I have found that the Green relay is the fuel relay. The high-pressure pump is wired directly from the ECC through a two-wire connection, pink/bk stripe & orange/blue stripe. Orange/blue also come from the fuel relay. So while the relay is working the pumps will not work from a problem in the ECC. Code check did not show a problem with a fuel pump but did show a TPI problem and a possible open EGR. I don't want to hot-wire the pump, but also don't want to buy an ECC if it is not needed. Going to check if there is a place locally that chan check the ECC. I have both the Chilton and the Haynes books and they have very hard to fallow diagrams that have conflicting wire colors.
