Idle Problems, HELP!!!

When i start the car it automatically revs to 1500-1600 rpms. When i drop it into drive, it goes back down to 1000 rpms. While i drive its fine but when i slow down to come to a stop, it goes down to about 800 rpms, then revs back up to around 1300 rpms. After i have completed my trip and shift back up into park, it revs once again to 1500-1600 rpms. Is this my idle arm? i need any help i can get. thanks

Does it make a real funny noise when you shut it off.. kind of like a goose?

If it does its your IAC it will give you the erratic idle and make the mentioned noise

I would think it would be your IAC even without the noise.
