92 Eurosport Battery Removal

I've searched the forums and numerous sites time and time again and everywhere I go people seem to skip the part I need, I had no problem getting to the battery itself (removing the bracket, washer fluid tank etc. etc.)

Now I'm looking at the batter and I see no bolts along the side or on top holding the battery in place. Rest assured it's in there snug, I was told by a friend of mine that there is some sort of locking mechinism that shuts when you pull on the battery. I did notice a a substansial hole in the front left wheel well, however that has not lead me to success at all either.

Any help would be most appreciated.

The battery tray has a lip on one side (toward the fender), and there is a small rubber wedge held in place by a 13mm headed bolt between the battery and the air filter assembly on the other side that holds the battery down. Remove the bolt and rubber wedge, slide the battery toward the air filter housing (which may have to be removed for clearance) and the battery should lift out.
