For the two people here (or at least used to be) interested in the golden age of sports racing. The 1967 #37 Sebring Porsche. Yeah I'd of liked another color other than white and a better looking set of wheels. Its a replica and that's how she looked.

nice! the only thing that bothers me is the rims, everything else is ok

That's pretty cool but it does need a bit of sanding to smoothen out the crusty bits !

As I said its a "replication." The 1:1 car was painted white with a set of flat black,5spoke, solid wheel, knock-offs. None bore really spiffy looking paint jobs. All business, if you know what I mean? The reason I chose this car was it had more color to it than any I'd seen of that era. And none of them had Dubbs:icon16:
Yeah. Its 1/64. There are several places that needed squared off. But the upper door frames were so fragile by the time I got them cut out I was afraid of breaking them. It looks much better in hand than three times the actual size in the picture. The real pain in the butt was making the doors swing full open. That ment having to secure the upper door frame to the pillar with fine element fishing line. If anyone's got a better idea I am truly open for suggestions and will give any good ideas genuine consideration. I hate the way it had to be done. Again, thats not nearly as noticeable in hand. I have a 1/12 scale Tamiya of the car and they didn't even attempt to provide opening doors even in that scale. I assume for the same reason. There just ain't nothin there to hinge to and there has to be something there to keep the door from floping everywhere.
