I have a 2001 Golf TDI. I am just wondering if i have to do anything to run my car on 100% biodiesel.

depends on the quality of the bio diesel

You shouldn't have to do anything, but I would suggest keeping a spare fuel filter handy. Biodiesel is known for having a solvent effect, meaning any crap that has accumulated in your fuel tank or fuel lines may get loosened up and go straight to the filter.

I started running B20 for a couple months, then B33 for a few months, then B50 for a couple months, and finally switched to B100. Within 2 or 3 fills of B100 I had to change my fuel filter. It's been fine since then. Some people never have that problem, but apparently some do.

If you've never done a fuel filter change, don't worry, it's really easy, takes about 10 minutes. Just make sure you fill the new filter with fuel or fuel additive, or you will have trouble starting.
