I have a question about the gas for 740il

I am just wondering if anybody knows how much gas they put in their bmw 740il like every 10 miles or 20. I am asking this question cause i used to have a problem in my car and some people said its the reason why i pay so much for gas, when i payed $10 for gas it would be gone in about an hour or an hour and fifteen minutes so i am just wondering am i the only one who's car takes so much gas.


by the way i know its an 8 cylinder but some people told me still its taking so much

what???? the above statment made no sense to me? 10 $ how maney gallons is ten dollors?

well 10 buck for gas is what maybe 3 and a half gallons? So if you average say 20mpg, then in 70 miles you'll be out of gas. so if you travel 70mph (just to make this simple), then in about 1hour you'll be dry. So I feel you are getting the average mpg, and no i dont think your car takes any more gas than other 7 series BMWs. (plus as you said your car is a V8 and weight a lot)

I figured it out! What happens is that when you spend $10 on a bean burrito, it creates alot more gas than a $5 burrito! Seriously, just fill up with premium and you will get 21mpg on the highway. my 2000 740 does this.
