Help Please!!

Hello, I have just put a 283 in my 48 CJ2A and not sure how to correctly wire it. All I get is a clicking when the key is turned. I have a stock coil (n-wire to dist. p-wire to ignition), starter has solanoid on it (Big post to Neg. side of relay, r-ground, nothing hooked to s-post) I have the old 4 post relay. The coil gets real hot but nothing happens. Anyone have any info. Thanks Jim Rivas
