anyone with a 305 TBI, could you post photos of the vaccum lines that run from the brake booster to the manifold and to the MAP sensor as well? Thanks.

I don't have that photo but often what I do for photo example of engine bays is go to ebay and search for the same type of car I am looking for and usually out of 10 or so auctions there is a real upclose good quality bay shot. Just a suggestion if a member can't help though.

yea, i've gone that route too, but these vaccume lines are usually concealed by the air cleaner housing and aren't captured well in everyday photos.

If you can't get anyone here to help you out, then I've got a friend a couple miles away who's got a 305 TBI he's trying to sell. I could see if it's cool if I get some pics for ya. From what he's told me in the past, it's all stock, just a new air filter.

This is the only photo I have off hand and it probably doesn't help much, I can get more later if this doesn't help, do you have a vaccum leak or something?

thanks for the pic, no I don't have a leak, i removed all the lines without labeling them, and now it's time to put them back on.

hey nate, how do thos underdrives work? worth the money? and when you put that diffrent intake on, what do you do with the little sencer thing on the stock one?

Glab to help geno, if you need another just let me know and I'll take it and post it up today. Cavy, the only reason I bought mine was because they look soooo much better than the stock pullies. If you have the money it's worth it IMO, but don't expect a huge differance in power from them. If your car has 200 hp and the pullies add 10hp then that's a one half percent increase in power so it's kinda hard to tell a differance. As for the sensor, I just drilled a hole in the new base and stuck it back on there. The IAT sensor is a good thing to have because it helps the TBI make adjustments for incoming air tempature.

no i am talking about that big black round sencer that is on the stock air tube intake thing, not the pcv tube thing by the firewall.

By sencer do you mean sensor? There is only one thing that I kept from my old air cleaner housing and that is the sensor.

ya, sorry that is what i ment, like right befor the the metal tube conects to the plastic air tube, on the metal one there is this big black sensor there. it has a wire or someting running to it, if you don't keep it what you do with it and the wire?

see on this pic, the black round thing on the end? http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i81/97cavalier/517_465_motor2.jpg

That circle thing is a part of the PCV, it's not a sensor just a vent. I took the hose and cut off a piece about 3in. long and put it on the intake manifold where it was before and put a small screw in the other end to seal it.
