HAHA you looked, dumb ass.

No, but seriously has anyone ever tried one of those ad bars on websites for free SLVRs, or RAZRs, or PEBLs, or Blackberrys? I always figured it was a scam but if you think of it, they could be selling all your information to a company for a decent amount of money per name, which could be enough to cover the $50 to buy wholesale/bulk phones. I'm not planning on it because I have Sony W600i, and you have to be 18 for all of them. Has anyone every tried this with or without success?

once i tried to win free razor catridges for a year cuz those things are expensive for my venus razor *like $16 a box*. it was free for awhile as i went thru those mazes of Try This! Try That! advertising scams. but then you had to pay and it wouldn't let you go any further till you paid so no, i've never been successful in it. and i already have a black RAZR so i don't need another one. i'm sure it's possible tho :)

i think it was here...minusing the fact we've had this thread topic recently and at least twice before that...but someone showed how a friend got an ipod.

aniwho, i did one awhile back, got a RAZR but it was after i got my Samsung. Hated the thing anyway, the RAZR, so i sold it.

I thought the phrase was nothing in life is free? Well I assumed the downfall was you have to give them personal information like your email (for spam), phone number (telemarketers), and address (general junk mail).

there's a lot of sayings, i.e. No such thing as a free lunch blah blah blah. Basically the way i see it is this, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
