hey guys I have 88 rx7 (na) with no rust and new paint but about a week ago the car overheated and now I have bubbles of gas fumes and oil in my coolant… so the motors toast… So hears my question I was saving up for a turbo engine swap in the future, I didn’t want it to be so soon but what ever. But I just found out that someone I know has a freshly rebuilt block that has been sitting in the crate in his garage for a year or so that he spent $1,500 getting rebuilt and is now willing to part with it for $900. I really wanted to do the turbo swap but only have 2k in the bank and this seams like a good deal. What are your thoughts? And how much does it really cost to do a motor swap ?

$900 for a rebuilt motor sounds pretty good to me.

you'll have to piece together the rest somehow (go on some forums)
