Hey everybody, it's been a while since I've posted a "serious" drawing. This 55 belongs to somebody who lives in my neighborhood. It's in great condition :)

9x12" Rising Stonehenge
medium: prismacolor pencils and white gouache.

saweet! your chrome actually looks.....chrome! nice job, as usual! Only thing, it needs torque thrust II's instead of wires. IMO. yeah, just wondering what you use on the fine lines too.

Looks nice as always, i was jus starting to get the hang of my prismacolor colored pencils then all 32 of them just disapeared, And i was just wondering, did you freehand or use a grid on this one.

Keep up the amazing work man

That's a good piece Alex.

I'd like to see if everyone can achieve results like that using the grid method.

It would be an interesting contest. Just seeing who would actually attempt it would be interesting.

Is that a blue you're shading the body with?

The chrome looks photo-realistic.
What a great bit of fine artwork.

The soft-edge drop shadow really lights the whole image.

Really cool piece.

Thanks everybody!

rexins-art: I always use a 2H 2mm (Steadtler) mechanical pencil for linework, no pen involved.

69charger: I did use a grid on this one.

Lemorris: Thanks for looking. I only used blue on the chrome, interior and on the white parts of the body. The red body panels have lots of grey in them, and I used mostly cool greys which have a mild blueish hue to them.

Omg whats wrong with you? thats so great it ruins all my hope of getting 'good' at sketching, still you're an inspiration. Let's all give his site some puplicity.
