Weird ass noise coming from engine

The dealership that sold me my 2000 Max went bankrupt and they are gone for good now, and the nearest dealership is a 2 hour drive away(through light traffic). Now I am hearing some clanking noises whenever I accelerate my car and I dont know what to do. It sounds like gears tuning but loudly and I checked all my fluids and they all were perfect. my question is would my warranty work at a local shop or do I need to go to a Nissan Dealership to get it check out and fixed without costing me my left nut?:( Thanks in advance

Hmm, I think it would be good at either the dealership...or a local shop that is certified by nissan to deal with that stuff, damn that sucks man :(

What you might do is call the number for the warranty company and ask them what the nearest shop that the recomend. that might get you a better idea of where to go:confused:
