So it doesn't look like Im getting spark in my 91 civic with a B16a swap. I pulled off the dizzy and there's no carbon lines and no water present. There was a spring loaded piece however that came loose so I loaded it back to the spring and put the cover back on. Still car no start-y. :banghead: Im dying to know what's going on with it, I'm working with less than 20 bucks and I have an interview 20 miles away on tuesday that I HAVE to be at. I need some help QUICK!! Can someone please shed some light on WTF's goin on with my baby? :shakehead

all you need is a multimeter and your hanyes manual to find out all the specs on it.

You have to be careful with that spring loaded piece you were talking about...the damned things are really flimsy and if it doesn't slide inside the coil terminal properly you'll burn out the coil cause that piece is what carries the spark from the coil to the distributor. If you have a bad connection there, you'll either get a weak spark or no spark at all. Those things have a habit of breaking off while your trying to put the cap on. Like the last guy said though sounds like a coil or ignitor issue just check out the specs in your manual
