02 LX shifting issue

When acclerating all seems fine, but when you are slowing down, when it gets to about 25mph, the car seems to jerk a little (like someone tapped the brake) My guess is it is shifting gears there. I checked the fluid, looks ok. doesnt have any other shifting issues other than that.
