Pathetic 5.0 Bird

I have a 1993 bird with a 5.0 l v8. First off it only will go 112 mph and no higher, how do i fix that? also, i get hardly any power throughout first gear, i mean i raced a prelude at a light and got beat because the acceleration was so slow. what mods could i make that would increase low end power, or power in general, i have a v-8 and with your alls help i want to be able feel it.

That's because there's a speed governor. You'll need to get a custom chip to have it removed.
