Electric Windows not working

Hi I have a Xantia 1.9TD 1997 with no electric windows working, a nightmare in this heat. Can anyone help, tried replacing fuses and control unit but still nothing not even a click. :screwy: :screwy: :screwy: Could it be a relay problem?????
Appreciate any offers of advice.
