well i got my header a while back for my 92 305 tbi camaro and they are just sitting in my garage, but it is so cluttered in the engine bay i don't feel like putting them on because i have no lift. How much does it usally cost to get somethinglike tht put on? And where do i go to get it done? a regular muffler shop won't do it i don't think.

Is it a daily driver? You can do it, it's not so bad, just take your time. Once the heater hoses are out of the way on the right side it looks a heck of alot less intimidating.

Hell, I'm paying a shop to put mine in. Trying to get to the passenger header bolts looks like a bitch. And I don't have any electric tools, plus all the rust and corrosion of 12 year old bolts. Not fun.

Hey, some people prefer to do the work themself and some prefer to make sure its getting professionally done so as to not have to hassle. To each there own and its all being done in the name of performance or to improve the vehicle itself , so I understand each route and in certain cases have recommended each route. I prefer the do it yourself route cause I like to save the money for mods but I am a cheap bastard. But to each there own.....

oh I ALWAYS work on all my stuff for my car myself, but the headdrs look like a pain in the ass, so i was just going to pay someone to do it. But i will see if one of the techs at my work (Chevy Dealer) will help me after work we will use the lift. I will see what they say. but there is NO way i can do this w/o a lift!
