Okay, so I just want to know what the differences between the turbo clutch vs the non-turbo clutch from a company like ACT. What I want to do, is eventually put a turbo motor in my car, so I'm prepping the car up, and since my clutch gave in tonight, I'll be getting a new clutch very soon. Are they basically the same? Since both engines are essentially a 13B, it should work either way, correct? The only difference is that the turbo clutches can withstand more abuse compared to a non turbo.. that's what I'm thinking.. so I shouldn't have any issues putting their turbo clutch onto my N/A 13B. Can anyone give me the right answer? Thanks.

Both the non turbo and turbo engines are very similar and bolt to the same bell housing; however from the trannys are different and use different flywheels. The flywheels can be swapped between cars when doing engine swaps, for example if I dropped a turbo engine into a non turbo car I would have to bolt up the NA flywheel to the turbo motor in order to still use the non turbo trans.
But I don’t believe you could use turbo clutch on a non turbo flywheel and your fly wheel needs to match your trans so you couldn’t just swap to a turbo flywheel to use a turbo clutch if u have a na trans.
Or at least that’s how it makes sense in my head… I’ve never actually tried :^]
