ok. a few things here. i want to know the estimate hp i'm getting from my motor and i also want to know about gapping the plugs. currently i've got a stock motor with a mustang cobra intake, holley 650 carb with vac sec's,performance air cleaner, accel points eliminator kit and a accel super stock coil, headman headers and 2.5" exhaust with 3" cut outs. i also want to know also what should i gap the plugs at. the coil said it can gap them bigger since it's got more spark. what size can i go?

The norm is usually .050-.055" for spark plug gap.
HP I'm going to take a wild guess of somewhere around 180-200hp +/-.

well i know that for 71 that the base hp for the motor with everything stock and a 2bbl carb was 215 so it's got to be better then that. is the spark plug gap you said stock? i need the jargest i can go with this coil.

I wouldn't really go any bigger of a gap then that. I was talking RWHP, not at the flywheel where the motor is rated.
