Check out what i just got

Well, not sure how many of yous saw my previous thread about getting my 92'rs stuck on a guide wire.. but after totaling that i decided to buy this puppy off ebay, yes ebay.. i went to go look at it and thought it was a damn good deal and ended up getting it for $5,100.
Its an 84' iroc and looks brand new... Has a custom built 350 small block, rebuilt tranny with street / strip kit and aparently only has 750 miles on both. Edelbrock Intake, edelbrock valve covers, HEI Distributor and coil, Holley Fuel Pump, Holley 750 double pumper, Speed Pro Pistons, Hedman Headers, sub-frame connectors, and a 3" flowmaster catback that will be comming off as soon as i get it and putting on my borla.
For some reason just 1 window is tinted, ill have to take that off.. and the stupid tinted hatch thing on the back is also comming off, but other then that im in love... what do you guys think.

That's awesome, if you like it. I don't think I could have justified spending that much money myself, but an awesome car nonetheless. Any idea on how much power it should have?

Lol the driver window, whooda thunk it. Tint is a b i t c h. It's sticky, use some...trying to remember what it's called, I remember I got high smelling it.

all he has to do it get it off with some foam window cleaner and a razor blade.

car looks great, but just so you know, first year for the IROC was 85, that's just a normal z28, which is just as good if you ask me.

Custom seats or what? Never seen those..

But dude just take the car to a window tint shop and they'll take off that horrible window and add some new ones.. just make sure to never use windex if you get new ones!

the window shops around here charge more to take it off than to put it on,lol. they said they hate dealing with it.

I saw the thread where you ran up the wire, how did that total the car, it didn't look damaged that bad.

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments, it makes me feel alittle bit better with spending 5 grand on it, i kinda look at it as an investment, hopeing the prices start going sky high in a few years...
Anyway, im thinking about buying one of those car capsules for $500 for it since im out of garage room, anyone know if their worth it?

The 92 was totaled becuase the frame was brent pretty bad, and there were alot of other small things that were messed up like both the quarter panels being crunched in, i guess when the back end slammed into the ground it pushed the back into the front alittle, and some other small stuff, i just got tired of trying to find pieces to fix things so i decided to part it out and spend a few extra thousand and get an older one
As for the question on how much hp, i have no clue yet, the guy said it was bored but doesnt know any specifics on that, it only had 2 owners, the first one did most of the body and interior work, the second did the motor and tranny to an extent

how manny miles are on the body?

dont known if youd have heard of it, but its called persolve, works perfect, peel the tint off, spray the stuff on and wipe it off

Guy said there are alittle less then 72k on the body, i didnt think it was that bad, there is no rust or anything anywhere, i plan on doing work to it and keeping it covered and just driveing around alittle on the weekends with it and hopefully wishing for the best in early 3rd gen camaro skyrocketing in price here shortly...
