C4 Transmission....Which way to turn?

Hello all,
I was asked by a close friend to work on his '76 Bronco. It has a 305 with a C4 2speed auto tranny. This should be a new experience for me, seeing as how I have never worked on a Ford. He wants me to pull his C4 tranny and either replace it with a new or remanufactured one, or rebuild it. I have rebuilt Chevy TH350's and 4L60E's many times, and consider rebuilding the 4L60E to be the only slightly tricky one. I always have my Chilton's handy of course. I had recently purchased a new factory Chevy motor from a dealership in Ill's online store, and it came with a 3yr/100K warranty and was wondering if there were any places online I might look for a C4 with a warranty like that. Also if there are any good places where I might get a high quality master rebuild kit. I have used a local shop and his prices are ok, but I know I can do better.
