1996 3.1 Thermostat

Where is the thermostat on a 3.1 skylark? I will be changing the water pump this weekend and thought maybe I should do that also.

Rear of the intake (left side of vehicle, which would be the rear of the engine if it were mounted longitudally). You can follow the upper radiator hose to the water outlet and thermostat.
