ac not working/blower not working

Well the Ac just blows hot air... what can I check to see if it is leaking or if it just needs to be recharged? also over the winter when i was using the heat the blower would just stop working. I knew an old trick from my 93' chevy silverado i just reach down below passenger side dash and hit/kick and it would come back on. I'm assuming that the blower is right there? What do you think I should do? I'm a big diy person.

Sounds like your compressor is dead. This is a common trait for Azteks.
