Hi

I think this is my first thread in this forum( I have a bad memory) :).

Anyway

My question is, I think I saw a thread a couple of months ago, about how to make rims that look like as if they spin. It had something to do with some plexiglass but I can't exactly remember how it was done and I can't find that thread.

Does anyone remember how it was done?

Thank you

as far as I remember the tutorial was showing a piece of plexi heated up and stretched like the rim but I also remember some paintjob was involved. at the moment I don't have time to make a try-and-fail because of my internship :( so it would be quite useful if I could find that source again.

The build was of a Ferrari 360 and was posted on another forum. I will see if I can find the thread for you and PM you the link to it.

Ray, I'm shocked! ;) j/k you know that!

I used the search feature here and got this http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=501844&highlight=spinning+wheels
Is that any help?

I remember thios thread. you attatch a camera at one end of a plexiglass board (maybe a ruler size? and the car at the other end, spin it, and take the picture. I'll try and find the thread for pics...
