I will be buying an cat back system for my 1992 5.0 mustang, and i was looking at the MAC and I had my mind set on them, untill i heard the SLP exhaust system that sounds so much better, I love it. The only thing that bothers me, are the tips on the SLP system they are 3.5inch tips which i belive are a little too big...
Now my question is, if i only order the SLP mufflers and instead of buying the 3.5inch pipes i buy the 2.5 or 3inch from MAC, do you think it will fit? Or am i better off just buying the whole catback form SLP??
Thanks

I'd probably just buy the whole cat kit. If the tips don't work, saw them off later, rather than break the set apart and stuff. But, this is only my opinion.

My personal preference is MAC, and I can't stand SLP what so ever. Here's a small video I made, and there are clips in it with MAC exhaust on my car.

very nice video, i think i will go with MAC since it was my firts choice + they look better and don't fart like the SLP does, i hate when an exhaust sounds like a rice canon!

Yes, SLP is very raspy and high pitch. They also make a Mustang sound like an f-body, that underwater sound that I really do not care for. Good luck, keep up posted.

I always use Mustangs ?Unlimited, only because they are driving distance from me, so I save money on shipping. A lot of people don't like the prices they offer, but like I said I pick up from there so it really doesn't bother me to have the parts exactly when I want them.
