I am in the proccess of rebuilding my motor, and i ran into a slight problem.
I was going to reusue the original connecting rods, but one of them is twisted/bent...
I do not plan on reusing it, as that would only cause me a larger headache...... but i cannot find a connecting rod for my civic... (94 civic dx, 1.5liter 16 valve)
The honda dealer wants 140$ for one, and it would take a week to get. No junkyards have one, (that theyre willing to rip apart), and i have no local u-pull junkyards around me.

Will a connecting rod from a "92 93 94 95 Honda Civic VTEC Si EX Rods P28 Pistons" work? i believe i have the d15b7 motor....... and i beleive the ex had a ex hada 1.6 liter motor, but would the connecting rods be the same length???
im going to press my new pistons onto it, but i dont want to harm the motor with althe money i have into it as of now...
If they wont work, i guess im sucking up 140$ for a connecting rod...
Thanks,
Bill
