01 rodeo trans range sensor?

I would like to thank amigo-2k for the great FAQ, this is how i found my problem. The range sensor is bad or dirty, Is this covered under the warranty?? The 01 has the 10/120 plus I bought and extended plan. I only have 30,000 on the car. Its never been to the dealer. Thanks again.

I don't think the range senor is covered by the warranty.
