cooling fan

i have a 1994 thunderbird lx v6 and the colling fan dont kick on until it the tem gauge gets all the way up then it brings it down to 3/4 i was wondering if it is sensing that it is at 3/4 whne it is really all they why up or what

i would get a new thermostat it sounds like it aint opening up when it supost to so thats what is ur problem

i already changed the thermostat

Have you replaced the coolant temperature sensor?
