do they have any of those MA subs in like a 12'' or 15''?? if so i might go with them.

go with 10's you get more mid bass then 12's. 8's are really nice as well (as far as mid bass)

i still like the 8's though. i dont know why. maybe its cause i want to have a trunk for the first time in 3 years of driving and they are more managable for boxes to fit my trunk.

The perfect system would be 2 8's 2 10's and maybe 2 12's. you would have the entire bass range, and if you could stand anymore bass then 2 15's would blow up the truck lol.

If a sub costs $30, its more than likely shit! Go with MA!

I was once told if a sub cost less than $100 then skip by it, but there is alot out there which it good for under $100.

ill probably get two of the ma 8's and one ten not sure which kind yet. maybe ill get the same type as the 8 but just a ten

I bought two 10" subs made by Dual, with built in blue LEDs to give it that neon look from Pepboys $50 each and they did me just fine, until they got stolen. They sounded pretty good to me but then again I don't need loud obnoxious sound so, to each there own in this dept. I think.

yea.. i have one pioneer 800 watt 12" sub... i overpaid and will never buy from that guy again... 85 bucks for something thats at wal mart for 58.... and my amp is Torch Audio, 800 watts also..

yeah i was running one 15'' JL w3 in ported box with 1500 watt audiofonics amp. my presence was definatly felt when i was coming. lol got the cops called on my one time cuz i was parked in front of the local jewel and you could hear it all the way in the back of the store. oops.. haha

yeah it was pretty damn funny. and also another time was parked in front of a gas station rattled packs of smokes of the shelf. i mean for one 15'' it really pounded!!!

Not me, as soon as I get done with my power window/lock conversion and add an alarm, I'm going to start working on my audio setup which will include either 2 12" Audiobahn Immortal series subs, or 2 12" Kicker Solobaric L7 subs. I can't go cheap on audio. My cd player cost me $400 new about 5 or 6 years ago (I need a replacement now though).

(MY OPINION) When someone drives by with massive bass and the radio so loud you can hear the words to the song when they're a street way, I'm one of the people sitting outside just shaking my head. ESPECIALLY when it's in a piece of shit car, maybe if they didn't waste so much money on audio they'd actually have a decent car. If you need attention that bad then get a nice car instead of pissing off everyone around you including cops. And if you're trying to pick up girls or something lol You're going about it the wrong way, most girls I know think it's completely stupid and obnoxious. But hey if having an unnessessarily loud sound system makes you feel cool, more power to ya. Sorry if I seem like I'm pissed off while typing this but thats just how I feel about the subject. Once again...my OPINION.

well the subs i have now (in my sig) did me fine for a while then i changed the setup on my amp and noticed that they sounded bad when turned up loud and they distorted a lot. thats when i decided that i need something better. i dotn want something so obnoxiously (sp?) loud but i dont want them to distort whn i turn my amp up. I am not even coming close to its fullest potential. i found those ma 8's on another site for like 45 bucks with like 25 shipping. i was a little weary about the price since every where else wanted like 80 plus. but ill get the two 8's and one of the tens

and to my99cavy, all i have is a single, weak, pioneer 12" sub and 2 pioneer 220 watt full range 6x9s. i took my front speakers out to replace and realized the ones i bought were too fat but i never reinstalled the delcos.

but yea anyway the other day i set off the alarm on an Avalanche.

I more than likely will. I have a connection that I can get them at just over cost. So that will more than likely be my choice. I plan on building my own box/amp rack as well.

SCORE!yeah its always nice when you set something off with your system. :lol: i cant tell you how many alarms i have set off before. im an asshole so it would be about 2 in the morning and i would be driving through a neighborhood and have it cranked up all the way. i would just drive and watch all the lights start turning on in houses as i drove up the street. it was great. not to mention seeing all the cars parked in the driveways start flashing from the alarms going off.

i would do that, but im the only cavalier in (i think) a 200 mile radius with altezza taillights, so if someone saw me doing that, they'd know exactly whose car to key...

lmao i couldnt imagine having 15's in there... i guess it depends on your setup but i have 2k amps going to my 10's and like i said pretty stellar sound. id imagine the 15's would make you occasionally have a good excuse for ignoring your boss when your 5 min late for work

i dont like crutchfield they are over priced. not sure on the amp. i like my power akoustic. if i just get the two 8's ill keep the same but if i want to add a ten to it ill probably get something bigger.
