i searched but nothing helpful so ill ask

i finally finished my motor and it runs good but when i start it it idles at like 2500. i checked my cam angle sensor and tried adjusting that got nothing. my biss screw does nothing. my iac is brand new so i doubt it that my ecu is brand new. so anyway everything i check is not working any help would be good. i thought maybe a vacumm leak but im runing like 19-20 vac at idle which i thought was really good.

Read my post, I fix it by ajust the TB cable, while the car still running and high idle, if the idle drop, your problem fix.

so that was your problem? lol, it happened to me once, after i was done puting the head back where it belongs, the gas cable was basically opening the butterfly.took me a while to figure out what it was.

yea now it runs at 750 and still has 19 vac so im pretty stoked time to break it in and tear up all the ricers in my area. theres a couple cars i really want to race one is a sr20det swapped 240 and a turbonetics kit integra i see them at the track all the time. the kid with the 240 is nice and the one with the integra is a typical honda guy and thinks he can beat everyone. i was runing 12.7s before i built my stroker motor and im even more modified now and i have an app. to get dyno tuned.

not that any of you guys cared but i was bored

Guys, there is a specific way to set that cable properly. Look up the procedure I posted, and be sure it is set properly. It is very likely that doing it on the fly will fix the high idle problem, but may not allow full opening at full throttle. ;)
