I Have A 97 Bravada That Keeps Stalling Out On Me While Driving. It Doesn't Happen All The Time Just When I've Been Driving It A Lot During A Short Period Of Time. I'll Be Driving Along And Then All The Sudden The Rpm's Drop And Then I Step On The Gas And There Is Nothing There Then It Stalls Out, I Can Put It In Nuteral And It Will Start Back Up. Have Had Computer Test, And Feul Preassure Tests Done On It And Everything Comes Back Good. Any Help Will Be Greatly Appreciated.

Sounds like what folks are saying is a keyswitch problem. You might try turning the key to the start the motor position for a second...DON'T TURN THE KEYSWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION WHILE MOVING, IT"LL LOCK THE STEERING!!!:nono: :nono: :nono:
I'll do some more checking around.

Here's something very interesting....another thing to check if the dash gauges seem to go dead during the stall:

I had a problem with my '97 like that. after all the searching, my friend jiggled some wires under the hood on the drivers side and saw my underhood light flicker. the wires are located (mounted) against the drivers side front fender under this plasic black cover (very easy to get to). You'll have to remove the 2 cheap plastic screws and the cover to reveal 5(?) bolts sticking out. Only the 3 middle bolts where being used on mine. Each bolt had a pair of wires fastened to it with a nut, a thin wire on bottom an a thicker one on top, but the middle one with the hot red wire on it was loose, so it was arching (and badly corroded) against one of the other ones. So tighten them up. they are very close together so make sure they're not touching. Whew!
Thanks garylee!!!
