I don't know if it is true or not but, DAMN!! Bush get your ass out there and do something. I am not blaming it all on the president, but you know he can do SOMETHNG!!

$3.20 as of 2 days ago.

I am not one to blame any President for Congress's failures, but he needs to go in there, kick some ass, and get some fucking results. This is stupid. I'll bet that Iran is paying a percentage of the increase in gas prices to Lebanon & Hezbollah just for them to piss off Isreal so they can fight and blow up shit.

Congress (at the Fed and State level) ought to get some balls and a fucking spine and some god-damned morals. Maybe then they could be honest and elimate the fucking fuel tax (and the phone tax, and the cigarette tax, and the real estate taxes, etc) add it to the income tax and let us know what we're REALLY paying in taxes. Pricks. If people actually KNEW what they were paying in taxes there'd be a 2nd american revolution. ***Goes to make sure plenty of ammo in the safe...***

Here, just slightly west of St. Louis, its about $2.93 for regular, meaning that premium is $3.13. Its not cheap to drive anymore.

Your not going to blame it on the pres even though he has his dirty hands owning oil companies in texas... At least that is what i have heard... He is making hands over fists of money he is not going to do a damn thing about it....

figures... I make the car less fuel efficient and gas prices go up.... I'm going to have to take the A/C and ABS out and put them on ebay for gas money...

I would already have a camaro if insurance wasnt so high. Plus having a truck has its benefits.

With a small truck those benefits are few.. especially with such an engine as yours..

 what are you talking about? Im not mad, just stating whats on my mind.

All I meant was that yeah, a truck has a bit more advantages over a car, but they're not really alot when you got a smaller engine.

True, if it wasnt for insurance i would have bought a 97 z28 anniversary edition from a guy at my work. When i bought the truck i was originally planning to put in a 305 my uncle has but with gas prices it might be awhile.

Eh.. kind of weird, using a truck for gas mileage as trucks seriously dont get good mpg anyway!

But whatever you can come upon is good.. sounds exactly what John's mother said when she conceived him..

what in pidgeon shit on a nun's forehead are you talkin about? :wtf:

That's the point of the the S-10 & Ranger.

Small truck, can do some work, and not rape your wallet with a 4cyl. If you need a little more power you can opt for the 6'er.

Both my father in law has a '85 s-10, prpbably @ mid upper 20's on avg. mpg

And when I drive my brother in law's Ranger I'd put it in the upper 20's. Now when he drives it of course as a late teenager delivering pizzas, then yes the mileage decreases dramatically.

kick bush's ASS!!!!!!!!

:disappoin You dem's (whiners) just don't get it....

It isn't Bush's fault gas is high... Fed & State Congress is resposbile for the taxes that compromise approximately 30-50% of the price of a gallon of gas, and the pussies who invest in the stock market who drive the price up everytime the middle east has a hair up it's ass... Iran is LOVING this conflict over nukes, and so is the rest of OPEC. I honestly believe they (OPEC) are responsible for this shit getting so out of hand, they can only profit from it and it's not them that's actually going to war. Why not egg on N.K. and Iran?

Now, I don't know that Bush actually OWNS an oil company, owning less than a 10% share don't count for much in my book, he wouldn't have any control over the company unless the other 90% was minority share owners that only held a minuscule fraction of shares each. If (as I believe) he owns a bunch of stock in a bunch of different companies and some of them happen to be oil companies and defense contractors or whatever, in my book that would make him a good investor... and whoever is making a big deal out of his owning that stock a sore loser, and a pussy.
