I also have a 2004 Maxx with just rear audio (no DVD either). I think the answer to your question is "no", but wait a few days for the resident expert (e2helper, if he still checks these boards) to chime in, for a definitive answer.
GM tends to save $ by not including anything above and beyond what the car originally came with. Folks have asked about installing XM radio and wondered if the car was pre-wired for that and the answer is always "no" if it wasn't original equipment. Bet the same with the rear DVD.

Hi,
Most definitely the wires for the Rear Seat Entertainment (DVD) system are NOT in the console assembly which has its own harness. There was a different harness for each of the console configurations (4 total in 2004). That is where most of the content occurs. The video cable between player and screen is separate and part of the player/screen assembly
If you have the Rear Seat Audio system (in 2004 it used plug-in headphones only) then the wiring in "main body harness" does contain the extra wires needed by DVD system.
The instrument panel harness would only contain wires required by DVD if you have either the DVD or XM radio option. Both of those systems are treated as an AUX audio input to the radio and required same wires (in that harness)
Those 3 harnesses in vehicle are only ones with content associated with DVD option.
Much more detail than you wanted but it is a complete answer :)
