I was wondering if it was possible to put a 99 z24 stock body kit on a z22 2000? becasue i wanted to get a new body kit and well my friend has a z22 and he wants to put the stock z24 body kit on it.....

Z22 is dealership's attempt to move cars. If your buddy has a 2000-2002 you will need to do a headlight conversion to the 95-99 style in order to put the 99 Z24 kit on the car along with needing new fenders since the 95-99 style have side markers that attach to them. The 2000-2002 have larger headlights. HOnestly trying finding a Z24 or LS body kit from a 2000-2002 cav instead. It will save you a few headaches.

and it will save you alot of money. But never heard of the z22 thing.

well i aint the one wanting to put the z24 body on the 2200 my friend is so if he wants the pain of doing it he can i will just order a body kit made for my car and make life easy :D :D :D

"dealership rice" is what many resort to calling it. They usually slapped some large vynal stickers on the 1/4 pannels that say Z22...

k but anyways back on topic here well i was wondering what u guys would reccomend for a sexy body kit for a 99 z24 :D

I personally like the stock z24 bodykits but if you're also like myself and feel the need to change it because stock simply isn't good enough, i'd go with the GMX or GMX-R from www.gravanatuning.com with an 03 LS sport rear bumper or an 00-02 rear bumper with the Wings west avenger rear bumper or Wings west W-type rear bumper, (because the gmx kit doesnt come with a rear) or the Drift kit, or go with the 00-02 headlight conversion and go with a Wings West complete body kit, not too many bodykits look good on the z24's aside from those in my opinion, but the cheapest one would def. be a Drift kit if you go with those. Happy trails young lad.

Z22 is widespread in Canada started in 93 with the 2g, was a slightly specced up 2.2/2200. didn't do them past 2000

2 each his own on that. check the feedback. got a good friend who bought her kit on ebay and it fit pretty good. just do some research on the seller

The black lip on the front is real CF, Lenko's got an 03-05 cavalier bumper on there since the gmx kit doesn't come with a rear.

As far as the Blitz kit goes....STAY AWAY. It's pretty much made for 95-99 Eclipses, and it looks the best on 95-99 Eclipses. Not to mention, I can't go to work without seeing one on something. They are everywhere and becoming wayy over played, it's like a universal bodykit now, and it shouldnt be.

drift sides made baby jesus cry and the front sits higher than the sides.
also that GMX-R is the TRD bodykit replica for Toyota Cavs.
Bomex rear = park bench
BC-2 is nice but rear sits too low and you NEED urethane do not get in fiberglass!!

Way better on the Eclipse in my opinion, the cavalier headlights just don't work with it.

becasue didn't you know body kits make you go faster, and if they are painted to match that is an extra 15-20 hp
