rear air bags

ok this is the problem. 96 lincoln towncar had hole in one of rear air springs. compressor keep running then went off. Then bought NEW air springs and NEW modual. now compressor wont run.:banghead: replaced relays. still wont run.:banghead: jumped rely to put power to pump. it runs but seloniod on air springs wont open to let air in.:banghead::banghead::banghead: any ideas? please help asap thank you

did you replace the selonoids when you replaced the air bags? also, your compressor may be on its way out. the only reason why it works when you jump it is because the jump by-passes the saftey systems for it. i had a prob with my 95 with the air compressor. it wouldnt vent. i have a feeling something is going wrong with your compressor. let me ask you this, when you replaced the relays, were the blown by any chance?
